[ Luckily, she's easy. She can easily melt into his arms, after all that. Especially when he draws her close, settles her against him. She's not done shivering, not quite done being wracked by the intensity of...everything. But she can come down from it here, in his arms.

She breathes. She lets out a low laugh, tension unknotting from her. ]

Clever that. Nearly forgot to.

[ She brings her arms up, running them over his back in a weak attempt to comfort him too. She feels like he should get some of this, too. Afterglow is better when shared. ]

[ Taking care of her comes naturally to him now - he is accustomed to it, both in battle and out of it, the push and pull of their relationship an eternal conflict that has settled in his gut now. Hands are careful as they hold her, stroking and touching, eyes warm and soft as he watches her.

Betraying himself with his tenderness, but... What else can he do? ]

[She relents - it's not by too much effort that he gets her to relent, all things said. The safety of the room, of his arms, and she easily trusts him with her heart.
